Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about business registration addresses, mail alerts, 24/7 smart mailbox collection, forwarding costs, documents, contract terms and branches.
Yes. With the Business Registration Address or Virtual Office service, you can use our address as the business address on your Business Registration Certificate. When you register or change your address, file with the Business Registration Office of the Inland Revenue Department as required. Whether an address suits your particular business is ultimately up to the relevant authority, so feel free to WhatsApp us first if you are unsure.
A mailbox gives you a Hong Kong address with mail handling, and it can be used as your company's registered office address and business registration address (a standalone address); we handle letters only. A business registration address also authorises you to use the address on your Business Registration Certificate, company documents and marketing materials, with mail handling included. If you also need office support such as meeting rooms, choose a virtual office.
We send a WhatsApp or WeChat alert on the day your mail arrives, showing the sender, type of item and date received. Plan B (Plus) and above add photo previews and priority alerts for important mail, and Plan C (Premium) adds a phone call for important items. You can collect from your smart mailbox at the branch 24/7 using your QR code or passcode, or ask us to forward or scan it.
Yes. Mail forwarding is included in Plan B (Plus) and above, to local and overseas addresses, on a weekly or monthly schedule or on request. Forwarding quotas and postage or courier costs follow the latest quotation and contract; see Pricing.
To meet Hong Kong anti-money laundering (AML) and customer due diligence (CDD) requirements, we usually need:
- Individuals: a copy of your HKID card or passport, and proof of residential address issued within the last three months
- Companies: Business Registration Certificate (BR), Certificate of Incorporation (CI), latest Annual Return (NAR1), and ID and address proof for directors and ultimate beneficial owners
The exact documents depend on your business; we will confirm them with you on WhatsApp.
The minimum term is one year; we do not offer monthly plans at the moment. You can also sign a 2-year contract at the same annual price: the first year is fixed, and in the second year you may end the contract with 3 months' written notice. All three plans are billed annually: Plan A · Essential from HK$1,200 a year, Plan B · Plus from HK$2,400 a year and Plan C · Premium from HK$3,600 a year. You can pay in HKD or RMB at the same figure (e.g. HK$1,200 or ¥1,200). See Pricing; prices and service details are subject to the latest quotation and contract.
Each mailbox compartment takes A4 documents lying flat and holds letters and documents up to about 7 cm thick (each compartment is about 75 mm high and 330 mm deep inside). We accept letters only, not parcels. Letters and documents sent by courier are accepted if they fit within these limits. We also cannot accept valuables, cash or restricted items.
Our staff open and scan mail only with your authorisation. Scans are sent to the WhatsApp number or email address you nominate, and are handled and kept in line with our Privacy Policy. You can also ask us to scan just the envelope first and decide later whether to open it.
Yes. The Company Secretary Address service provides a Hong Kong address that your company secretary can use as the correspondence address on Companies Registry filings such as the Annual Return, and we handle the related mail. Under the Companies Ordinance, a company secretary who is an individual must ordinarily reside in Hong Kong, and a corporate secretary must have its registered office or a place of business in Hong Kong. Please ask us for details first.
You can pay by bank transfer, FPS or another method we specify (subject to availability). Once your documents are verified and payment is confirmed, the service is usually activated within 1 working day and we issue an address-use confirmation.
Our plans do not renew automatically. We remind you by WhatsApp and/or email 30 days before your term ends, and a 14-day grace period applies after expiry; if you have not renewed by then, the service ends. After termination there is a 14-day forwarding transition period (postage extra). You must update your address with the Business Registration Office, the Companies Registry and any other bodies within 14 days of termination.
